Quick rule summary
Southwest permits up to 20 spare batteries for cameras, drones, games and toys in carry-on baggage. From April 20, 2026, each customer is limited to one power bank, which must stay out of checked baggage and the overhead bin.
Important: Effective 20 April 2026, Southwest limits customers to one power bank at or below 100 Wh. It must stay out of checked baggage and the overhead bin; charging the power bank onboard is not allowed.
